The NIH implemented a new data management and sharing policy (effective January 2023) that would have an impact on all researchers seeking NIH funding. To prepare for the change, the UCSF Library and the Office of Sponsored Research joined forces to chair a multi-stakeholder group to ensure researchers would be ready to comply with the change and to ensure processes and policies were aligned across multiple departments. The PMO provided project management, meeting facilitation, and communications support to keep the work moving forward and ensure those involved stayed on track with deliverables.
